‘we are really pleased to have achieved a Silver award for the whole of the south-west so soon after opening’. February 2017
Set just away from the main Georgian house, our new sleek, timber framed self-catering property was built in 2015.
The single level layout comprises two en-suite bedrooms with pocket sprung mattresses and luxury Egyptian cotton linen. Both bedrooms have the facility to divide into twin beds. The bathrooms feature both a bath and walk-in shower.
At the heart of the building is a large living area with smart TV and Sonos sound system, a fully fitted kitchen with induction hob, a comfortable and spacious dining area, cloakroom and utility room equipped with a washing machine and drier. There’s no need for logs as the bioethanol fire will keep you warm.
The veranda’s large panoramic sliding glass doors have uninterrupted views reaching out over the pond and across the countryside towards East Hill. All you will hear is the low-level chatter of birds and the odd barn owl. Enjoy the evening sun in peace and quiet with a glass of something cool.
The main bedroom, bathroom and sitting room are all extremely well suited and equipped for people with limited mobility. Underfloor heating from our renewable biomass is supplied throughout.
The Granary offers a very well insulated, private and self-contained living space away from the main house. It is perfect for families or couples who enjoy their space and creature comforts away from home.
You’re in East Devon so hike, cycle or swim to your heart’s content. There is a selection of good pubs and restaurants nearby, two of which have plaudits from Michelin for their food quality and service – see the Places to Eat page.
In the event of late cancellation or amendment, a refund is not available. Therefore we recommend you take out holiday insurance.
The Granary is a no smoking property.
